Accra, Ghana – April 14, 2024 – A new chapter in the fight against kidney disease in Ghana was ceremoniously opened today with the official launch of the Adomah Kidney Care Foundation. This non-governmental organization is set to become a vital pillar in providing much-needed support to individuals battling kidney disease across the nation and beyond, aligning with its core mission to offer financial assistance for dialysis and transplants, promote kidney health awareness, and advocate for equitable access to healthcare.

The launch event, graced by representatives from the Ministry of Health, philanthropic organizations, community leaders, and dedicated healthcare advocates, underscored the urgent need for comprehensive support systems for renal patients. Speakers highlighted the significant challenges faced by individuals affected by kidney disease in Ghana, particularly concerning the prohibitive costs of treatment and the critical importance of early detection and sustained care.
