In Loving Memory: Kenneth Abu (2001 – 2024)

Abu, born in 2001 in the Asante Region of Ghana, faced the immense challenges of kidney failure and high blood pressure with remarkable courage. Despite the overwhelming odds stacked against him, Kenneth never lost his spirit or his will to fight.

Kenneth's battle with kidney disease began at a young age, and throughout his journey, he demonstrated incredible resilience. His family stood by him through countless hospital visits, dialysis sessions, and the emotional rollercoaster that accompanies chronic illness.

The Adomah Kidney Care Foundation was honored to support Kenneth during his fight, providing financial assistance for his treatments and connecting his family with resources. His story inspired many in the community and brought attention to the urgent need for better kidney care access in Ghana.

Kenneth's passing in 2024 was a tremendous loss, but his legacy lives on through the foundation's continued work. He remains a powerful reminder of why we do what we do — and why every moment counts in the fight against kidney disease.

Rest in perfect peace, Kenneth. Your courage will never be forgotten.
