About This Event
The Adomah Kidney Care Foundation organized a kidney health awareness and free screening event in Konkonuru, Eastern Region of Ghana on April 4, 2025. This outreach brought life-saving health education directly to the community.
Kidney disease is a growing health challenge in Ghana, with many people unaware of their risk until the disease has progressed significantly. Our community outreach programs aim to close this gap by offering:
What We Offered
- Free kidney health screenings — Blood pressure checks, blood sugar testing, and urine analysis
- Health education talks — Understanding kidney disease, risk factors, and prevention
- One-on-one consultations — Medical professionals available for questions and referrals
- Community engagement — Reaching underserved populations who lack regular healthcare access
Impact
The Konkonuru outreach was part of our ongoing commitment to bring kidney health awareness to communities across Ghana, particularly in areas with limited healthcare facilities. Through these events, we identify individuals at risk, provide early intervention, and connect patients with the care they need.
